My name is Denis and I am the founder of Nufields.
The Nufields journey began as an indoor vertical microgreen farm, set up in a spare bedroom in our house in Howth. Our mission was to supply restaurants with top quality, hyperlocal produce grown in their own communities.
We hit a major roadblock earlier this year when restaurants were told to close their doors to the public as a result of the Covid-19 restrictions.
However, noticing the need for people to be responsible for their own food sources, now more than ever, we condensed our commercial growing techniques and knowledge into an easy to follow kit. Our kit produces restaurant standard, incredibly healthy microgreens all from your own windowsill.
Crops can be ready to harvest in as little as 7 days and are loaded with vitamins and minerals. Some varieties are up to 40 times more nutrient dense than their fully grown mature counterparts.
We want to bring the farm into people’s homes and allow everyone to grow healthy, abundant amounts of food no matter where you live.
